Transition & Complement

On Sunday, meet Juliane Schikora at poster 120. She is in the first year of her PhD and plans to stay in complement research for many more years. Juliane will present data generated during her master's thesis as well as data from Stella Schayan-Araghi's MD thesis. Juliane will show fascinating data describing a correlation of complement transcripts with different maturation states of cells of the retinal pigment epithelium. These data will be complex, but don't be intimidated, Juliane will guide you very carefully through this jungle. The poster will be of interest not only to "eye people". All researchers interested in “cell dedifferentiation” and who use words like "epithelium," "EMT," or "tumor" in their research should check it out. Please come and chat with our most balanced and relaxed lab member.
